Michael Holmstrom - Founder & Chief Parking & Transportation Guru

As founder and President of Signature Parking, Michael brings over twenty years of experience in the valet parking industry, starting with his first job parking cars at age 17 in his hometown of Sacramento, California. A valet parking job put him through college in Santa Barbara, CA and the following year he served as Director of Operations the oldest valet parking firm in San Francisco before starting Signature Parking with one employee in 1994.   Early on, he recognized the central role of the Valet Company and its employees in defining the first and last impression for its clients.

Michael's proven success in building lasting client relationships is based in his unwavering commitment to complete customer satisfaction. He also realized the importance of investing time and resources in his employees training and development to ensure they can meet the high standards set by the company.

Michael currently contributes a wealth of experience in all facets of the business including sales & marketing, systems & procedures, employment development, finance, and quality control measures. Since 2007, Michael has spearheaded the next phase of our strategic action plan now focusing on providing solutions exclusively for the Healthcare Industry.

Michael sits on the Business Leaders Council of the Santa Barbara Region Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the International Parking Institute (IPI), Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce, the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) and the American Healthcare Association (AHA).

 

Jared Samakosky - Director of Operations and Customer Service

Jared joined Signature Parking in 2006, and brings eight years of experience in the hospitality service industry. Beginning his career in the hospitality industry at several hotels and restaurants prepared Jared for his current role of employee training, operations management, and quality control. After a brief time with a large national parking firm, Ace Parking, Jared joined Signature Parking because he identified with the culture of service within our organization which recognizes and rewards employees for outstanding customer service.  Jared plays a key role in recruiting, hiring and training as well as on-site project management.  Since joining our firm, Jared has been instrumental in helping our employees continually improve and maintain their customer service skills, while also executing other operations management responsibilities with the highest degree of professionalism.  Jared is a native of San Diego, CA.
